Sometimes things break - whether by severe weather events or wear and tear. So in January, the old pool heater broke and we didn't manage to fix it. That was particularly frustrating because we tried everything during the stay of our guest but one week wasn't enough. After their stay, we had planned the replacement and remodeling of the windows anyway.

After a quick (final) check, the decision was quickly taken to get the whole heater replaced. Well, ... it wouldn't be us, if we don't see and leverage opportunities. ?

We researched available pool heater with all their pros and cons and consulted with our pool service. We found the Madimack inverTitan. Little known yet but whoever had it was just happy about the effectiveness and particularly their quietness. After installation, we ran the pump and the heater for testing all night while literally sleeping on the other side of the wall. This heater is so super quiet you hardly realize it's running.

But that wasn't all. We bundled the replacement with our pool service and converted the pool to salt water. A salt cell now generates Chlorine from the salt in the water - just as much as needed to keep the pool clean. And it softens the water too. A whole different experience!
